Frequently asked questions
Is it free to list a product on TechLogHub?
Yes. Submitting a product listing on TechLogHub is completely free. A free listing includes a permanent product page, community ratings and reviews, inclusion in category browsing, and indexing in the TechLogHub sitemap. Featured placement is an optional paid upgrade for additional visibility.
What is required before submitting a product on TechLogHub?
Product submission requires a TechLogHub account with a verified email address. The submission form requires a product name, website URL, primary category, tagline, short description, and a logo — provided as an image upload or a logo URL. Submissions without a logo or tagline are rejected by the form.
What is the Tag Line field on a TechLogHub submission?
Tag Line is a required one-line summary of the product, up to 60 characters — the kind of punchy phrase that sits under a logo. It's required for new submissions and shows up in listing cards, sidebar promos, and search results. TechLogHub can auto-suggest one from the product website's meta description during submission.
What are use cases on TechLogHub, and how are they different from tags?
Use cases replaced free-text tags with a curated taxonomy of 190+ options — LLM, Uptime Monitoring, Email Marketing, Subscriptions & Billing, and more. Up to 5 are picked per product from a searchable dropdown, the same pattern used for target audiences, so filtering and browsing stay consistent across the catalog instead of relying on inconsistent free-text tags.
How long does the TechLogHub review process take?
The TechLogHub team manually reviews every submission before it goes live. Most listings are reviewed and approved within 24–48 hours. A submitted product stays in pending status and is hidden from public browsing until approved; the owner can still view it from the dashboard.
What kinds of products can be listed on TechLogHub?
TechLogHub accepts SaaS products, developer tools, open-source projects, APIs, CLI tools, libraries, frameworks, databases, cloud services, DevOps tools, AI/ML tools, and productivity apps for technical teams. Consumer apps without a developer or technical angle are not accepted.
How do categories work when submitting a product to TechLogHub?
Each product gets one primary category, which drives breadcrumbs and ranking placement. Up to two secondary categories can be added for cross-listing, and up to five target audiences can be selected from the platform's curated audience taxonomy. Optional fields cover pricing model, business type (B2B, B2C, B2B2C), tech stack, pricing tiers, and up to five use cases picked from a searchable dropdown of 190+ curated options.
Can social media links be added to a TechLogHub listing?
Yes. A listing can include social links of type Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, GitHub, Discord, Slack, or Other. Each link needs a name and a URL; blank entries are dropped automatically during submission.
What is the difference between a free listing and a featured placement?
A free listing gives a product a permanent page with full details, community reviews, and sitemap indexing. A featured placement adds priority visibility — the sidebar carousel on the homepage, Products page, Blog, Open Source page, and Leaderboard, plus top-of-grid sorting with a Sponsored badge. Featured placement can be added during submission or later from the dashboard.
Is there a limit on how many products one account can submit?
No. TechLogHub does not limit the number of products per account. Each submission goes through the same manual review, so every listing must independently meet the content guidelines and fit the platform's developer and technical focus.
Will a TechLogHub listing appear in search engines?
Yes. Every approved listing gets a dedicated page with structured metadata, JSON-LD schema, and inclusion in the sitemap submitted to Google and Bing. TechLogHub category and comparison pages also rank for developer tool discovery queries, giving listed products additional organic search exposure.
Does payment guarantee a product will be approved on TechLogHub?
No. Every sponsored placement goes through the same editorial review as standard listings. Payment does not guarantee approval — a listing must be a real product with an accurate description that fits the platform's developer focus.
