1. What we collect

• Account data: email address and display name when you sign up.
• Product submissions: details you enter when listing a product, open-source project, or job posting.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, ratings and reviews submitted.
• Contact form submissions: name, email, and message when you reach out to us.
• Payment data: processed entirely by Razorpay — we do not store card or bank details on our servers.

2. Why we collect it

• To create and manage your account and product listings.
• To moderate submissions and prevent spam or abuse.
• To process featured placement payments through Razorpay.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts, contact replies).
• To improve the platform based on how it is used.

3. Who we share data with

• Razorpay: payment processing for featured placements and subscriptions.
• Email provider: our SMTP provider sends transactional emails on our behalf.
• Analytics: aggregated, anonymised usage data may be analysed to improve the platform. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

4. How long we keep data

• Account data: retained until you request deletion.
• Contact form submissions: retained for up to 12 months for support purposes.
• Usage and analytics: aggregated and anonymised after 90 days.

5. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal data, or object to how it is processed, at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 10 business days.

• Right to access, correction, and deletion: request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or have your account and associated data deleted.
• Right to data portability: request your account and product-listing data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Right to object: object to processing based on our legitimate interests (for example, product analytics), including opting out at any time.
• Legal basis for processing: we process account and product-submission data under contract (to provide the service you signed up for) and usage/analytics data under our legitimate interest in operating and improving the platform. • Supervisory authority: if you are in the EU/EEA and believe we have not resolved your request adequately, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority (a full list is maintained by the European Data Protection Board).

7. Where your data is stored

Account and product data is stored on infrastructure we operate ourselves. Payment data is processed and stored entirely by Razorpay in accordance with its own data-residency practices. If our infrastructure or any sub-processor stores or transfers your data outside your country of residence, we take steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy.

8. India — Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP)
