Shareable tool results, live rank badges, and usage guides on all 67 tools
Everything in this release came out of one question: when someone finds a TechLogHub tool useful, what stops them from sharing it? The answer was mostly friction — results lived in a tab that couldn't be sent to anyone, tool pages had no text explaining what the tool actually did, and listed products had no way to show their standing anywhere but here. This release fixes all three.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions
What does the TechLogHub Releases page show?
The Releases page aggregates version release notes and changelogs posted by product owners across the TechLogHub catalog. It works as a feed of what shipped recently — new versions, features, bug fixes, and breaking changes — filterable by product and release type.
How to post a release for a product on TechLogHub?
Product creators and maintainers post releases from the dashboard's Releases section. A release requires selecting the product, a version number (unique per product), a title, description, release type, status, and release date. A markdown changelog and tags can be added. Releases appear on the public Releases page.
What release types and statuses does TechLogHub support?
Release types are major, minor, patch, beta, alpha, and rc (release candidate). Statuses are planned, in-progress, released, and cancelled, so upcoming versions can be announced before shipping. Posted releases can be edited or deleted later from the dashboard.
Who can post releases for a product on TechLogHub?
Only the product's creator and listed maintainers can post, edit, or delete releases for that product. Posting a release requires having at least one product listed on TechLogHub.
What is the difference between /releases and /changelog on TechLogHub?
The Releases page tracks version updates for products listed in the TechLogHub catalog, posted by their owners. The Changelog page documents updates to the TechLogHub platform itself — new features, pages, and improvements shipped by the TechLogHub team.
How to follow releases for a specific product?
Following a product from its listing page adds it to the follower count and surfaces its updates. The public Releases page can also be filtered to a specific product to see its full version history in one view.
