MachineMail
MachineMail is an email API for AI agents: free inboxes on demand, a hosted MCP server and webhooks, and a trust report on every inbound message that strips hidden instructions and tells the agent whether the sender can be believed. Its /v0 API is compatible with AgentMail's.
About MachineMail
What is MachineMail?
An email API for AI agents. Every agent gets its own inbox for free, reads mail over MCP, REST, webhooks, SSE or WebSocket, and every inbound message arrives as agent-safe text with a trust report and level, so nothing in the inbox can hijack the agent.
Key features
- Free inboxes on every plan: named, generated, ephemeral (self-deleting) and catch-all on your own domain
- Trust layer: SPF/DKIM/DMARC, sender history, allow/block lists, link and attachment checks, hidden-text and zero-width removal, classifier for phishing and prompt injection
- Five trust levels: verified, known, unknown, suspicious, quarantined (withheld)
- Hosted MCP server with wait_for_message; works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode
- Signed webhooks retried for five days, replayable; SSE and WebSocket events
- AgentMail-compatible /v0 API; OpenAPI, CLI, agent skills and plugin (MIT)
- Agents can self-register via auth.md and be claimed with a 6-digit code
Pricing
Free $0 (3,000 messages/mo), Pro $9/mo, Team $49/mo, Scale $199/mo; spam and quarantined mail never billed.
Value & Audience
Value Proposition
Gives every AI agent a free, real email address and a vetted, sanitized view of its mail, so agents can sign up, receive codes and reply without being hijacked by what lands in the inbox.
Problem Solved
Agents need their own inboxes for sign-ups, OTPs and inbound work, but mailboxes are priced per seat and any sender can slip phishing or hidden prompt-injection text in front of the model.
