TackNote flips the script on traditional sticky notes by anchoring them to your work instead of your desktop. The file isn't lost; the context is. TackNote ensures that each note appears only when you are looking at the specific window, tab, document, folder, conversation, or task it belongs to. When you leave that context, the note hides automatically, eliminating clutter and ensuring the right note is in the right place.

How It Works

TackNote provides a seamless experience where notes follow your focus:

1. Anchor: Press your customizable shortcut to pin a note to the exact window, tab, document, folder, or conversation in front of you.
2. Hide: Switch apps, tabs, or Spaces; the note vanishes instantly to keep your workspace clean.
3. Return: Come back to that specific window or tab, and your note reappears exactly where you left it. It survives quits, relaunches, reboots, and Space switches.
4. Reveal: Click Reveal from anywhere to jump straight back to the exact URL, file, folder, project, page, or task associated with the note.
