Overview

Slopdar is the ultimate radar for identifying AI-generated 'slop' across the internet. It allows users to paste any URL and receive a detailed analysis of whether a site was built with human craftsmanship or generated by AI prompts. The tool provides a Slop Score from 0–100, accompanied by 'receipts' that justify the score based on specific markers of automated generation.

How it Works

1. Link Submission: Paste any URL—your own site, a competitor's, or a startup you are monitoring.
2. Automated Scanning: Slopdar scans the markup, stack, copy, and assets for every known AI tell.
3. Detailed Roast: Receive an instant 0–100 score and the roast worth screenshotting.

The Tells

Slopdar identifies five key categories of 'slop' that templates and AI builders often leave behind:

• Tool Fingerprints: Marks left by v0, Lovable, Bolt, and Replit in the markup.
• Default Assets: Untouched Lucide icons and Shadcn buttons.
• The Usual Stack: Common configurations like Next.js on Vercel with Supabase.
• Layout Tropes: Centered heroes, gradient blobs, and bento grids.
• Leftover Junk: Placeholder text like Lorem Ipsum or 'Your Company' links that go nowhere.

Community Features

Showcase your craftsmanship or see the sloppiest finds on the internet. Slopdar features a daily game where users can compare two sites in ten seconds to see which is more 'slop'. It also maintains a Founder Leaderboard, a Wall of Shame for the sloppiest finds, and a Hall of Fame for the cleanest websites found.
