About Overmind

What is Overmind?

Overmind is an open-source platform that turns AI agents' production traces into specialised, fine-tuned open models you own.

How it works

  • Understand: trace agent decisions and find the failing step or tool call.
  • Prepare: build training and eval datasets from production traces.
  • Evaluate: compare prompts and models on real tasks, with eval gates and judges.
  • Train: fine-tune an open model, deploy behind an OpenAI-compatible API, keep the weights.

For developers

OpenTelemetry ingest, Python SDK, CLI and an MCP server for Cursor, Claude Code, OpenCode and Codex. Sync traces from Langfuse, LangSmith, Braintrust or Galileo.

Open source and pricing

AGPL-3.0 platform (MIT SDK/CLI), self-hostable with Docker Compose. Hosted: Free, Pro $120/month, Enterprise custom.

About

A London team backed by Antler, 14 Peaks Capital, Osney Capital, Portfolio Ventures and Endurance Ventures.

Value & Audience

Value Proposition

Turns the traces an agent already produces into cheaper, task-specific models that the team owns, with evaluation built in so regressions are caught before deployment.

Problem Solved

Teams running agents on frontier models pay high per-call costs and struggle to see why agents fail. Overmind connects tracing, dataset building, evals and fine-tuning in one loop so failures become training data.
