Maritime
Maritime is a YC-backed cloud that gives every AI agent its own isolated machine: persistent agent boxes that sleep and wake in about a second, per-second sandboxes and swarms, and Linux desktops, Windows desktops and Android phones an agent can see and control, driven by API, SDKs, CLI or MCP.
About Maritime
What Maritime is
Maritime (Maritime AI, Inc., YC Fall 2026, San Francisco) gives every AI agent its own isolated machine and manages the fleet around it.
Machines
- Agent boxes: persistent Firecracker micro-VMs with a /data disk; sleep when idle, wake in about a second
- Sandboxes: per-second, throwaway VMs for generated code; Swarms run thousands at once (invite-only)
- Computers on demand: Linux desktops, Windows desktops (licence included) and Android phones, with watch and takeover links
For developers
- Dashboard, CLI, REST API, TypeScript and Python SDKs, and MCP tools
- Templates for OpenClaw, Hermes, ZeroClaw, Claude Code, Codex, DeepSeek Harness, or any Docker image
- One agent per end user, triggers, private networks, per-agent AI budgets, optional LLM proxy at list price
Security
One VM per machine; sandboxes, Linux desktops and phones on Hetzner in Germany, Windows on AWS us-east-1; HIPAA attestation (Comp AI, Oct 2026); SOC 2 in progress (company statements).
Pricing
Plan fee becomes usage credit: Starter $20, Growth $100, Scale $500, Dedicated $5,000/month. Agent boxes $1/month per 2 GB; sandboxes from $0.011/hour; Linux $0.12, Windows $0.18, Android $0.15 per hour awake. 7-day free trial with up to $20 of usage.
Value & Audience
Value Proposition
Gives each AI agent, or each customer's agent, its own isolated and persistent computer at a cost low enough to run fleets of them, without the team running the infrastructure.
Problem Solved
Agent builders spend their time provisioning, maintaining and debugging environments, and many tasks need a real desktop, Windows app or phone that APIs and plain containers cannot reach.
