Open-Source Odoo Alternatives (2026) Odoo is a modular business suite covering CRM, accounting, inventory, manufacturing and more. The Community edition is open source under the LGPL-3.0; the separate Enterprise edition adds proprietary modules. People look elsewhere for a different feature set, community, or licence.
Every project below is under an OSI-approved licence (GPL-3.0, GPL-2.0, AGPL-3.0, Apache-2.0), checked against its repository. Two accounting and invoicing apps that are often called open source, Akaunting and Invoice Ninja, are listed at the end because their licences are not OSI-approved.
Licences checked against each repository on November 7, 2026.

Often called open source, but aren't Public source code, but under licences the Open Source Initiative doesn't approve. Fine to use; read the terms first.
Akaunting (BSL 1.1) Source code is public, but the Business Source License is not an open-source licence, so Akaunting does not qualify.
Invoice Ninja (Elastic License 2.0) Source code is public, but the Elastic License 2.0 is not OSI-approved.
