Open-Source HubSpot Alternatives (2026)

HubSpot bundles a CRM with marketing, sales and service tools. No single open-source project covers all of it, but there are solid open-source CRMs for contacts, deals and pipelines, and Mautic covers the marketing automation side.

Every project below is under an OSI-approved licence (AGPL-3.0, GPL-3.0, LGPL-3.0, MIT), checked against its repository. Some, like Twenty, keep a small enterprise-licensed portion alongside the open core, which is noted where it applies.

Licences checked against each repository on November 7, 2026.

Open-source HubSpot alternatives: FAQ

Quick answers to common questions

Is there an open-source version of HubSpot?

HubSpot is proprietary. Open-source projects cover its parts: SuiteCRM, EspoCRM and Twenty for CRM, and Mautic for marketing automation.

What is the best open-source HubSpot CRM alternative?

It depends on size and taste. Twenty is a modern option, SuiteCRM is feature-rich, and EspoCRM is easy to set up for small teams.

Can open source replace HubSpot marketing?

Mautic covers campaigns, forms, landing pages and segments, and it can be paired with any of the CRMs above.

Can I import HubSpot contacts?

HubSpot exports contacts and deals as CSV, and most of these CRMs import CSV. Associations and custom properties usually need manual mapping.

Do I have to self-host?

Not always. Several of these projects also sell hosted plans, which may be easier than running servers, but the open-source code lets you self-host if you want to.

Maintain an open-source HubSpot alternative?
