Home Alternatives Open source OSI-licensed only · self-hostable
Open-Source Doodle Alternatives (2026) Doodle is a hosted scheduling tool: you propose times, participants vote, and you pick the winner. Open-source alternatives let you run polls on your own server without ads or accounts for participants, and a few cover booking pages too.
Every tool below is under an OSI-approved licence (AGPL-3.0 or GPL-3.0), checked against its repository. Framadate, a popular poll tool, is left out because its repository was archived in 2025 and is no longer maintained.
Licences checked against each repository on November 7, 2026.

Open-source Doodle alternatives: FAQ Quick answers to common questions
Is there an open-source alternative to Doodle? Yes. Rallly is an open-source scheduling tool built for finding the best meeting time, and it can be self-hosted with Docker.
Can I self-host a poll tool inside Nextcloud? Yes. Nextcloud Polls is an app for Nextcloud, though it is not maintained by Nextcloud itself.
Is Framadate still an option? Its repository was archived in November 2025 and the README says it is no longer maintained, so we do not list it.
Do participants need accounts? That depends on the tool and its settings. Check each project's documentation for your version.
Which licence applies to these tools? They are AGPL-3.0 or GPL-3.0. For internal use that rarely matters, but modified versions offered to others must publish their changes.
Maintain an open-source Doodle alternative? List it on TechLogHub and we'll review it for this page.
